Indicators not making a noise

Hi Guys
I'm new here and would like to ask a question, I've just got a RRS 2007 and the indicators and hazard warning lights all work fine but just don't make a noise, there's no clicking sound to let you know your indicating.
Is this normal or is there a problem.
Cheers

Speaker in the instruments broken.

Front park sensors don't make a noise either?

Mine do as I get closer and closer till they scream at you. Whistle

Indicators and Hazards are only a fairly quiet clicking noise though, but you can see the green flashes on front panel display. John

Well it's still the dash.

Good with a soldering iron ?

The dash is part of the imboliser system so you may wish to consider if it is worth the risk of fixing.

It's a legal requirement to have audible indicators so would likely be an MOT fail.

MOT guide says
"3. Check the driver's 'tell-tale' warning device for presence and operation. Note: A 'tell-tale' may be audible or visual, it is not required if one or more direction indicators on each side can be seen by the driver from the driver's seat."

Just checked the MOT manual, it has to be audible OR visual, I stand corrected! Embarassed

Can't be related to the park sensors sounder which is located in the LH side of the luggage compartment, behind the side trim panel, below the window. The sounder is connected to the parking aid module via a harness connector. Malaysia Boleh!

That speaker is for the REAR park sensors. not the FRONT, which you may not have
