+1 with Andy K. Highly probable it's the clock spring. Not something I'd try to replace but others here have done so successfully. Barrie.

Easy enough to replace clock spring, just make sure to disconnect battery first and leave for awhile to ensure any residual voltage etc. to dissipate. Can buy tool to release air bag for few quid or a bent metal coat hanger will suffice.

is it the sme as removing a p38 steering wheel it was 4 the torx bolts hold the irbag in place |
