Wales 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Lux Sumatra Black

The "Problems" were meant to be sorted on 2012 onward SDV6 engined models, but of course they can go on any car, but shouldn't any longer with the newer models, as with the earlier ones. LR never did admit or discuss the problem though. John

The 3.0 still snaps cranks, apparently, and there is no way to know beforehand whether a given engine will fail. So you either buy one and just accept that the odds are still in your favour or buy something else. Buying one and worrying about it is daft. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Warranty, warranty, warranty for piece of mind.
I've just renewed my 2 year one it came with for peace of mind. Depends on your approach to risk etc etc.
I'll probably switch to a Warranty Direct product in a couple of years Thumbs Up Visitor from fullfatrr.com
