You'd think the charger would have a trickle mode to stop overcharging. This happened to our phone at home once. Went on hols for two weeks, leaving the handset on the base unit (and thus charging), came back to find it was dead and non-revivable, even with a new set of batteries.

Jay, Save your money and get a Talex (www.talex.co.uk) instead. I've had one for just over six months now and they are very good and excellent value for money.

It seems to me that you need to either detect or jam laser beams used in mobile vans as these seem to be the easiest method to catch you out, well that's what happened to me a couple of months ago

I was only really interested in the Road Angel Plus because of the fact it portable and wont use any unsightly cables. Previously I was intending to have an Origin B2 integrated into the RRS
