I was told the dealer had received their RRS build slots through up to November, so don't expect MY18 cars before then.

I have clients that are high up at JLR in coventry and have informed me that October reval and Jan deliveries. I have posted spy shots on here recently as I caught one coming out of the factory in Coventry.

I showed these pics to one of my clients at JLR - they said it may not be a final prototype so door handles are still an unknown. It will definitely have the velar dual screen dash though.

Are the heating controls and just about everything else via touchscreen on the Velar?

I love my RRS but my biggest two grips are the satnav (and I have no intention of reconstituting that discussion here) and the slowness of the touchscreen. If it is anywhere as slow as my RRS, then I will have frozen to death on a cold day or burnt to a singe on a hot day by the time the touch screen responds Sad

Have you experienced the MY17 sat nav? Its a lot more responsive than previous versions.

It was pain staking having to wait 2 minutes between entering each digit on a postcode on the previous sat navs!!

As for the heating I can't comment
