Mine's the dirty, tired-looking TDV8 with duct tape holding the lower door trims on... Whistle 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Nice little meet. A bit light on stalls selling stuff. Nice to meet up with Chris (Buckster) again and nice to meet a few others for the first time. Thumbs Up

The off road course was a nice little trip around the woods. Nothing tricky although the side slope bits make you think "er, that's a bit...!". Did the whole thing in just low range with no need for Terrain Response at all. Heck, the LRE guys were using an Evoque!

Had a trip around the motor museum. Nice but glad I didn't drive two hours just for that. Would have felt slightly underwhelmed. Nice as an add on to the day, however. Thumbs Up

Only downer on the day was hitting a pigeon on the drive down there. At motorway speeds it was a big thump, bird very dead and a big crack in the windscreen. I guess an argument with Autoglass will be the next thing. Big Cry 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Always nice to put a few faces to names... RRSTDV8 Buckster DrRob, good to meet you today Thumbs Up

Yep, would have been nice to see a few more trade sellers but still, a good day out with plenty of LR's to look at plus a great excuse to give the car a good run out.

It was good to meet Lyonhead and stroll around, bit disapointed that there wasn't many stalls to browse.

Two pic'cs after today's forest run, enjoyed it and it was not too taxing. 😊 Thumbs Up

Yes it was a very good day, great to meet some new forum members and the usual suspects Whistle

I did see your car ianmo, you were parked opposite me towards the end of the day so my apologies for not saying hello as I didn't recognise the car as a forum member, but always nice to see a RRS2 getting used Thumbs Up 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

Next year we should meet in the small car park on left as you come in - club rendezvous or something it's called. Then all go in together and park up as a group Thumbs Up Visitor from fullfatrr.com

No problems on the 21 or 22" wheels and low profile tyres? I have just posted in the wheels and tyres section to counter The Wojtek's reply to somebody that 22" are worse than useless offroad............. Well I've just had a brilliant wet and muddy day out in my 494 on 22" wheels and we didn't loose grip once even in mud up to the top of the sidewalls and some very wet and slippery grass........ also got to try out TR's rock crawl setting for the first time ever driving 1/2km along a nearly dried up river bed with just enough water to make the stones and rocks very slippery. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
