Have you checked for loose heat shields ? Do you get a judder threw the car on light acceleration if so could be the torque converter. A few people have described hearing a rattle on the D3 site under similar conditions to what your describing.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

What engine do you have? MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Well, the revs will sit down a touch when you put it in "D", could be a vibration-induced resonance somewhere - heatshields as mentioned is a good place to start I suppose. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.
