Insurance on Remapped RRS

Hi folks

I thought I'd better get some insurance quotes before getting a remap, and using the usual comparison sites for a guide, I'm finding an increase of about 100 quid compared to the same quote with standard RRS. Most of the big names decline to quote.

Does anybody who already has a remap have any recommendations for an insurer to try who may not list with those comparison sites?

Thanks

Not a recommendation but IIRC Adrian Flux are happy to quote on modified cars. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Car insured with LV and when I had my 5.0L S/C re-mapped they were OK with it and never actually charged me any extra.

Cheers

Thanks folks

Via a market search, without remap I was £429 with One Call Insurance (never heard of before), then Admiral was £545 when adding a remap.

After Col mentioning LV I checked direct with them and with remap was £528

Last year I'd tried the supposed high performance/modified insurers like Sureterm and Adrian Flux (I'd been with them with my slightly modified Defender) but they were more than double my Tesco Insurance quote of £380 and that was a standard RRS, but I'll give them a try with a remap. Also A-Plan, I'll see what they can do, but with being abroad at work just now it's a pest with these brokers who do not do online quotes as it's usually a fairly long call.

So that gives me some ball park figures to go on to decide whether to go ahead with the remap - I highly expect I will. 13MY Range Rover Sport Autobiography SDV6 - mine
