If the brake pedal felt stiff from the get go then my guess is you didn't press it hard enough. I'm sure you did but just saying in case you didn't. This has happened to me before and it was just a matter of pressing the brake hard enough to begin the full engine start sequence. |

Mine occasionally comes up with 'key not found' despite the fact that the key is in the centre console as usual. It will normally start ok if I hold the fob under the steering column as per the handbook guide.I'm not sure if it was related to a low battery charge in the key fob. I'm in the shed, I'll be back in the real world in a minute. |

Thanks russben tried that, yes. I reckon it was an electric glitch that we know these vehicles like to try our patience with! After an hour all was well so it seems it needs a little time to get over its strop! |
