South Africa 2010 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 SE Alaska White
2010 4.4 TD8 Fuel fault

Good day gents. Running out of ideas to diagnose and solve my problem.
Symptoms: Under full load / throttle engine cuts out and wont restart. Normal driving is perfect with no smoke no misfire.

I found the fuel pump relay in the engine bay disengages when this happens.
If I manualy engage it, the engine fires up and holds the relay closed perfectly.

My fault codes alway: Fuel pump A out of range & fuel pressure low.

So is it low pressure pump, dirty in tank filter or maybe injector leakage?

Any help from the gurus.

Thanks to all the views...
So this morning the battery was completely flat, 2.3v...

After fitting anothwr one she started right up. Took her for a test run and the engine cut-out.
Jumped the relay to get me home...

Now this is where it gets funky. Switched off, removed the jumper and the relay stayed engaged.
Replaced the relay and that one also energised, with the Rangie switched off.

So I have a wiring issue, but one that breaks AND one that gives a Pos permanent to the relay with ignition off.

This is going to be fun.
Gents I need wiring for front fusebox to pump and to what ever energises the pump relay, big please.
