Still not sure if going to sell tbh.
Only reason is we have owned it for 4 years, just thinking of changing for newer model, 2010 Autobiography.
The car has been a great car, but heard the newer ones drive better

Jason, take it from me they do, the huge diet that RRS1 went on to morph into the RRS2 pays dividends in not just performance but also comfort and economy. I have run a 2.7TDv6, 3.6 TDV8's (in both RRS and FFRR forms and RRS was very much better than the same engine in the FFRR) and now have a 2015MY 3.0 SDv6 HSE Dynamic which is the best of all of them. The RRS2 Dynamicare also brilliant offroad and if you are mad enough to find out Thumbs Up they will go places most other SUV's won't even look at, even when the RRS2 is on road tyres. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Thanks,
Yes I have been told they drive so much better.
The wife only does about 3000 miles per year, but think will change to a 2010.
Offroad, never even considered it lol unless parking on the lawn counts

A lot I have looked at on the internet have high miles, e.g. 2010 model with 90-120k miles.
Are there issues with this sort of mileage?

Tim, would you be so kind and elaborate a bit further? That's an interesting topic for me. I thought the weight difference between the two was minimal and the aerodynamics of the FFRR are not very different from the RRS. Were they really that different to drive? Do you know if maybe the engines or gearboxes have slightly different maps perhaps? Regards etc.,

Simple - the FFRR didn't have dynamic response or Brembo brakes in the diesels, only the S/C had those. After driving out of the dealership in my 2010 TDV8 3.6 FFRR I very nearly ran up the back of a car on the A40 at traffic lights as I was so used to the RRS TDv8's fantastic anchors. The FFRR rolled around all over the place too whereas the RRS TDv8 had the trick antiroll bars. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Oooh, I didn't know that. OK, that just shut down the idea of a TDV8 L322 for me. Thanks. Regards etc.,

But if you go for a 2011MY on 4.4 TDv8 then you get the Brembos and Dynamic Response. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
