Most insurers are now insisting on a "decent" tracker system from "their" list to be fitted, no matter what already fitted, or no insurance.
I must say how impressed I was, when taking the first lead off of my battery, my mobile phone rang, to check if it was me that had just carried out the above, before tracker company alerted the Police, as it was still shown on my drive at home address. That took less than 10-13 seconds for phone to ring. John
