Yes, you can. However, for the cost of a new filter, I'd be replacing it, and a new seal too. Better safe than sorry, it's not a cheap engine to repair/replace... |

I've never had a problem, They're the same as the BMW 123d filter and housing and if you start screwing the cap by hand you can feel the pip drop in and then it holds the filter still |
