Might be worth looking to see if the radar gun is pointing the right way, it sits behind the box on the front bumper that has ACC written on it. |

I've not looked at it myself so can't give a precise answer, I'm not sure you can remove the cover to view the radar gun without removing the front bumper, it is however easy enough to remove the bumper.

It'll probably be obvious once you remove the cover. I will be very surprised if it's facing the wrong way. Is the cruise control definitely coming on? 2006 Java Black HST Supercharged |

Cruise control works with no issues, comes on stays at speed etc etc. but will not pick up another car infront. going to try on a duel carrage way and a motorway later today to confirm.

I would get the car config checked, AFAIK there is no way of disabling the radar and if it was broken I would expect the cruise not to work. I suspect someone may have disabled the radar in the car config because it annoyed them.

As I said previously, check the radar gun. The bracket that holds it isn't very robust so there is every possibility that it slightly too high or too low. It could also be leaves or dirt has built up between the sensor and the cover.

Only a thought - but the ACC and forward alert appears to be speed sensitive. In other words - it will leave a bigger gap between you and the vehicle in front as the speed increases. So if you test it at low speed say with forward alert switched on the alert won't sound until you are "uncomfortably close" to the vehicle in front.

The problem is it only really picks cars up on the inside lane to me. Not in my lane. Several times putting brakes on while overtaking a lorry.
