Too many colours meeting at the back, the scollop where the number-late and name badge looks wrong, it's unbalanced, then the smallish rear window, evoque esq is too small and the balance of the shape with the taper of roof to wheels just looks wrong.

If the rear number plate was central it wouldn't look quit so odd at the back. See a couple of black ones with privacy glass and it looks very slab sided. I like the look of the disco 4 but don't think I would buy a 5. Hope the sport isn't going to change to look like that when I'm due a newer model.

LR reckon they deliberately offset the rear number plate to maintain the Disco tradition. (I still don't like it).

I had the pleasure of test driving one a few weeks ago. Very nice inside and less body roll than D4 but it is not great to look at, from most angles. I much prefer D4 looks-wise over D5. Pity because it is so practical and a perfect family car otherwise
