Do you have a source to back up this non-warranty? |

To make it clear, there IS a warranty between the purchaser and JLR, warranty dependent on the market.

I always thought the Lion Engine was a joint venture ref engine design, however manufactured by Ford.

They never recalled the K series for HG issues, just revised the gasket and repaired those with issues |

I was at the local stealer to chat about the RRS and the salesperson claims that they haven't seen a crank issue on the RRS L494, and none on the D4 after the MY12 update (which we know is not true).

There was a similar thing with the TD5 engine. There was a lot of talk about the heads cracking. Quite a few on forums with the problem. I asked my indi. 2 of them were Trained by Land rover and decided to start their own business. They claimed to have only ever seen one between them, although they were aware that the problem existed. We know the problem exists but what is the percentage that fail to the ones actually driving around with no problems. |
