DVD player keeps saying no disk??

I bought my RRS1 last week and I'm just starting to find little things wrong with it. One of them being the ceiling mounted DVD player, I have put a couple of different DVDs in it and they all have said "no disk" then it ejects the disk. Has anyone come across this before?

I did do a search but all the results seem to be concerning either the head unit or the nav drive under the passenger seat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The warranty on those Ceiling players was horrendous, hence the change to rear headrest ones. Just bought a RRS 06 MY HSE TDV6 136,000 miles, to be a second car to my bland, boring Mitsubishi Outlander 68 plate 2.0 petrol 4

Great... not worth fixing then? Don't suppose you know the cause of the issue do you?

Can't remember exactly these days. Just not robust enough for the use.
There was also the issue of disks getting jammed in them. Just bought a RRS 06 MY HSE TDV6 136,000 miles, to be a second car to my bland, boring Mitsubishi Outlander 68 plate 2.0 petrol 4

I think I have a Lens cleaner somewhere so wouldn't hurt running that through it.
