United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Fuji White

You won't be disappointed with the climate seats Donny Dog,,when it was hot last year (I think it was Thursday) they were really good & you don't stick to the leather seats.

I can attest to the climate seats being very good indeed too and really enjoyed using them last summer every day.

The soft close doors are something I would definately pay for on my next car, im sure its just matter of getting used to your new car when comparing it to your other cars, I find it close to the shut position but think it adds a level of calmness rather than slamming the doors on exiting. MY18 SCV8 Satin flux silver

Maybe yours works better than mine, or I'm expecting something different, but if the doors are almost closed it still doesn't pull them shut, which is what I'm used to on my Mercedes. Indeed, on the Merc. it's hard to stop them closing as it's impossible for them to be 'nearly' closed, but on the RRS it's quite easy for them to rest in that position.

Soft closing doors would be no good at all for me,,when the wife gets out & closes the passenger door the drivers side opens she slams it that hard.

I think you must have a problem with the soft close operation because my doors all pull closed from the ajar position very positively. So much so that I would worry that little fingers from kiddies could get trapped with absolutely no way of pulling them out!
I also get mechanical sound from each door motor closing and locking each door giving a satisfactory feeling that the door is closed and sealed.

It doesn't sound like your's are doing any of that, funnily enough I have a client with a ffrr and his drivers door didn't work on collection as other's have mentioned, could that be a software issue as I can't imagine it's coincidence? MY18 SCV8 Satin flux silver

The inoperable driver's side soft door close on delivery could be related to the "delivery mode" (like a super-valet mode) that the car is put in from the factory and is removed as part of the PDI.

Hi Phil, saw you coming out of the car park after the game yesterday, recognised your plate Very Happy
I changed my SVR a few months ago for a Macan Turbo. Liked the RR but just found it a little big and heavy and didn't really need all that space inside, the Macan is just as fast and IMO a bit more fun to drive. Horses for courses!

Or not, as the case may be! Crying or Very sad Sounds like you've solved the problem, thanks, and it should be easy to sort at the dealer.

That's one way of putting it!
At least Martial showed some intent, admittedly running the wrong way but he was fast!
Over 50 now yet a dam game of football can still manage to completely f**k up my weekend Neutral
This season was always going to be a work in progress, it's just difficult to cope with!
If I see you again Phil and the chance is there I'll say hello.
