appreciate what you're saying, and your experience, but i take it more positively in that they're not denying that there might be issues, are saying that they would investigate, and have not ruled out financial assistance even though it would be outside of warranty. I don't think I could expect anything more positive than that.

in the meantime, fingers crossed!

Scotland 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Ipanema Sand

I've had new Range Rovers over the last 17 years and never had any major problems. Is the feeling that there are major engine issues purely from comments on this forum or is there statistical evidence available? I'm not trying to make a point but am interested to know.

Thanks for that info. Interesting reads. Difficult to decipher how many affected but not isolated incidents.

Has a fix been installed and, if so, from when?

Still no fix AFAIK. 15/16MY's still reporting crank failures Neutral
