Having followed the incar head unit thread and asked loads of questions I completed my install over the weekend.

Yes the connections are under seat but the InCarTec loom already has two pink flying leads which connect via the multiplug. I simply extended those speaker cables and included them in the speaker loom from under seat back to head unit and then connected to amp. You could put amp under set but then you still need to get RCA and remote cable down there anyway so a 50/50 decision and I like the neatness on where the amp fits by glovebox behind the panel
Forgot to mention USB lead into glovebox with a 32GB data stick with tunes on
Oh and the fibre optic loop just turned up Fitted
Working Nav screen as a result

Nice install did you have the Logic 7 system previously, if so are you still using all of the speakers and the original amp. Life's too short to drive boring cars !

No but then I never used the voice guidance part so not an issue for me and prefer google maps on phone as more accurate anyway TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten |

Makes sense, I regard the built in sat nav as a novelty not something useful. Do you definitely have sound coming out of the tweeters? I've seen some posts saying that after upgrading it only comes out of the bigger speakers. |
