I was undecided between silicon silver until I saw it in the flesh at the dealership. It is a nice colour but has a definite brown hue to it. I also considered waitomo but that has more of a flat/blue/primer type look to it. Decided to stick to my guns and ordered corris. even though it isn't a premium colour for me there wasn't another grey as nice without spending £3500 on the ultra gloss colours |

IIRC Waitomo was the replacement for Havana and has a gingery brown tint to it but looks grey on the configurator 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

It also looks grey on the samples you get in the showroom (I couldn't tell the difference between Waitomo and Corris on the samples). I've never heard it described as 'blue' (as above), but it's so many people saying that it's 'flat' or 'primer-like' that worries me. I don't mind it leaning towards brown, but I want it to be glossy! |

And you have highlighted what drew me to the colour initially but if you see the colour in the flesh, on an actual car, and in sunlight (not under showroom lights) then yes, silicon silver has a brown hue to it. believe me I spent too long studying the subject of land rover colours...... |

take the sample out into the british weather and it changes. In the showroom Waitomo looks really glossy and silver/grey but once it is released into the open it shows itself. I saw a Waitomo range rover sport on a dull day in Scotland and it was a let down, no real shine on it and a blue/primer look to it as mentioned above. The good thing about corris is the sparkle it has in the paint and is very similar to Orkney grey, waitomo and silicon don't have those. Tim I was under the impression that silicon silver has replaced Havana as when I saw the range rover in this colour I could see the gingery brown hue in it. |

Make that a booking for 2! I had to get a colleague on the ship just to reassure me that what I was seeing on the LR configurator as Verbier silver was silver because if you click in the "i" it opens a window that describes the paint as "a vibrant shade of red"..................... on my iPad it is very much a shade of silver without any hint of red at all. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Another one for Specsavers. I've got an Ipanema Sand version which I saw as having a greenish hue in the showroom and on one other before I bought it. The DVLA says it's Gold but I now only see Silver!
