Funny enough there is a similar thread on the Velar forums about this colour looking a bit green too!

It is an unusual colour I must say. That are a lot of grey/silver cars around and it looks a different shade depending what you park next to. Against my wife's silver/grey car it definitely looks brownish!!

Arrived March. Silicon silver 3L S/C petrol Only done 700 miles but seems to be about 27mpg on a long run. Colour looks different in showroom from outside. Ordered having only seen sample in showroom but very happy having had Scotia grey and Corris grey on previous RRS's

27mpg seems a bit mean (bearing in mind I get over 25mpg overall from mine) however I've read somewhere on here that they loosen up and this should improve. Robin
