2010 rrs 3.0 fan housing

Doing a timing belt on my rrs , the early 2.7 u could remove the top of the fan housing the 3.0 looks like u have to remove the whole fan shroud , has anyone done there's , or is there enough room leaving the housing in place cheers in advance .

Not to be a Censored , but if you can't get the fan shroud off do you really think it's a good idea to attempt the cam belt ? Shocked

!

Thankyou for your useless comment , I can get the fan housing off , but if I don't need to it will save a lot of time . These forums are supposed to be for help or info not stupid comments !

No its a pain in the arse, unlike the 2.7 you have much less access as only the top part comes off, Unless you want to remove the whole lot which is a big task in itself.
It just makes the job a bit harder having to lean over the fan cowling to reach everything, there is also a lot more to remove on the3 ltr than 2.7 ltr.

Flack Thumbs Up
