Jobs well done then! IIRC from when member VA fitted one to a TDv6 RRS in the early days there can be problems with the front PDC heads and you may need to re-route or blank them off, also be careful with the sensor for the SRS/Airpbags.

Cheers Tim, still need to source the correct bolt kit for this now as I'm rather fussy about things being right, must be an OCD thing!

Buckster if you have time search for posts by VA (there will be hundreds so you may need to add a filter like "winch", his RRS is the only one apart from G4's and an LRE car I have seen with a winch. Might be photos in his galleries 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

So after a lot of negotiation with the owner on this brand new and unused Warn 9.5 XP-Synthetic Winch I finally have my paws on it after a 2hr journey each way. He brought it but never fitted it and it has sat in the box since he got it!

Buckster, any idea what the difference is between the "Synthetic" and "non-Synthetic" winches? I assume it is either the fair lead or the barrel design is different, but it may be that the Synthetic has a helix drive that will run the rope cleanly along the barrel so it doesn't bunch up in one place under load.
