Thanks for the replies, will check out those places for a scan. I've read quite a bit about the brake switch and also about the steering angle sensor being calibrated. Hopefully it will be one of these as they are easy fixes.

Lack of a battery cover shouldn't be a problem for the ECU or TCM unless someone has been jet washing in the engine bay. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I think I can help as I had exactely the same symptoms. I had it fixed recently but I been looking for the invoice for about an hour and its driving me mad that I can't find it. |

I just recently changed my lower front suspension arms and track rod ends and I was getting these indications too as I could see on the steering wheel that I had not got it quite centred (steering wheel centre was off at about 11 o'clock). You are saying that the fault is intermittent but mine was every time I drove, after a couple of minutes it would alarm as the sensors were picking up that the steering angle didn't correspond to the wheel speed sensors.

Thanks CRACKA, appreciate the time taken to look for it, the steering angle calibration is something that I'm hoping will work so that's really helpful. |
