Hey guys,

From a long time lurker, I have a 2008 RRS and it is just not opening wit the key fob. Don't know if it would make a difference, but I got a new key fob about 3 months ago (not from land rover) and it was working fine. When this fob stopped working the other day, I used the spare which was only unlocking the drivers door but now neither key is working.
I googled to see if it was the battery even if it is unlikely that both of them will go a day apart and apart from that, I read that the fob battery gets charged whilst driving.
Alternatively does anyone know if there is a way of using the flip out key? Any ideas? All suggestions will be gratefully welcomed

If your unable to get into the car without the fob you can remove the cover on the door handle on the passenger side lock then get into the car manually and check if car starts up ok, if it starts up fine then its best to drive to your local indy or stealership for them to dianose and if it dont start up due to a flat battery then give the battery a good charge and key fob should start working again  RRS SUPERCHARGED, 22 INCH ALLOYS, JAVA BLACK, FULLY COLOUR CODED

or it has been known that starting the car resets the keys

Cheers guys, i have taken the cover off and have been using it with the key...just thought there might be a common fault or an easy way to reset the keys(s) without taking it to a stealer dealer.
