Tdv8 over heating

Hi I have just purchased a high mileage 170k tdv8 ... love it runs and drives like new .... here's the but heater dosnt get hot ... uses a litre of water a day ... bubbles out of expansion tank ... but dosnt overheat even if driven for 10 miles ... can anybody advise ... thanks . Shaun

Sounds like the seal has gone on your expansion cap if its leaking, £10 for new one should fix it.
