Hi all..

Does anyone know the flash codes for the alarm once it's gone off? Mine triggers randomly when set and upon disarming, the hazards flash 8 times in quick succession, but not sure what this code means has been triggered.

I _suspect_ my bonnet pin is at fault, as now and again I get the "bonet open" message appear on the dash for no reason (I've had it out, cleaned it up, I don't get the issue as often but it needs replacing anyway) but confirmation would be good if someone knows for sure?

Yes it'll be your bonnet switch, to test unplug it and bridge the connection, paper clip works well.
Try that for a few days, if no alarm it defiantly the the switch, only about £20 so one of the better faults!

Thanks Bodsy.. I assumed 8 flashes would be bonnet for example, 1 might be interior sensor.. etc etc etc.. thanks for the confirmation.. probably explains why I couldn't find a list of flashes related to trigger cause

Thanks Hemo... I'm planning on heading to Lookers in Park Royal on Friday as I'm off and it's only a few miles down the road to get a replacement switch anyway.. but I'll try bridging it in the mean time as it woke my better half up at 04:40 this morning (no idea how anyone hears the pathetic excuse for a "siren" but somehow it did) and then I must have woke the anyone that didn't hear it by re-arming it and the horn sounding to let you know something isn't closed
