I think I get 480 to a full tank. Also do 60 a day round trip. Mostly motorway.

A 61 reg would invariably by a 2012 model year car registered in late 2011 or early 2012. I stress this because if you search for RRS 2011 you are likely to see the older model... ie 3.0 TDV6 with 6 speed box and split tailgate.

I would either go for HSE or real Autobiography. AB is much more than just a body kit as explained above. If you like the Autobiography look (not everybody does) and your budget allows, go for that rather than SE or HSE pretending to be AB. If not, MY12 (61 plate onwards) HSEs are very nice in terms of spec and you will not regret. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

I would agree about £3k a year including warranty.

My servicing costs at JLR are far in excess of the prices stated on here.

You need to budget for maintenance beyond servicing: tyres, batteries, brakes and other wear n tear items, and other stuff not covered by warranty. So £500 per annum on average as a minimum.

RRS is the only car for us too. Does everything from supermarket trips and children's duties to garden & garage rubbish clearance and holidays involving serious mileage. Proper allrounder. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Hardly surprising - not many Civics have air suspension, torque converter autos, high and low range gear boxes or 4WD. We have 2 Civics, a Jazz, a Disco4 and 2 RRS's in the family. When a long trip is planned the Hondas all stay at home! Mainly because their suspension is so dammed hard it is unpleasant and tiring on a long trip. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it 2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced 2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW |

I see nobody has mentioned depreciation in these calculations, but you can easily say 20% per annum. If you have to calculate all these costs and then compare to a Honda, then I would advise you don't bother!

My 2013 RRS1 (bought approved used from a dealer and part-exchanged at the same dealer after 21 months) depreciated @ 6.8% pa. While I recognise the fact that I got a great deal and this figure is by no means representative, I still wouldn't expect a used RRS1 to depreciate as much as 20% pa.
