Its a hard drive system for your model, I believe you can update the 2012 via USB too.

you can only update the 2010-2012 hard drive units via firewire from a dealer , cost is around £165.... |

It was from 2012 when the infotainment system was updated that allows USB updates. See link ^ |

I can confirm that HemoRRS is correct, you can indeed update your maps by purchasing from the previous links shown and upload by using USB, always ensure your battery is fully charged. I have done this twice now on my 2012 RRS with Hard Drive Sat Nav.

Without trying to sound rude, in the USB sockets. Best one to use is one in the little box in front of coffee cup holders
