Possibly Muddys next Milk Float?

0-62mph in 5.6 seconds. It’s as fast off the line, therefore, as a Ferrari 348.

So what we have here is a large and sensible seven-seater estate car, with an excellent Scandi interior, that can keep up with a Ferrari but do 134.5mpg. Drooling yet?

Cool Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black

Good mate of mine bought one of these, £72k, radiator hose let go last week, wrecked the electrics.
New battery and loom required, all on back order.
Dealer advised the the cars interior would need to come out to facilitate the repair.
He has now regected the car, waiting Volvo response.
Apparently this is not the first XC90 it has happened on.
Not only LR that has problems. MY13.5 Autobiography, Santorini Black, Privacy Glass. Gone
Driving a milk float for now.

You don't get the performance AND the range: it's one or the other. Whistle Rolling with laughter

The XC90 is a good looking car with a great looking interior. Does 90% of what LR's big cars do. The other 10% is the off road stuff and as almost noone uses that on LR's products either, it's a moot point. The Volvo is much more keenly priced than LR's stable. Just quickly spec'd one up online - a Momentum (the basic trim level) with £10k of options and it was still less than the most basic RRS with much better standard kit. And it'll pull 2.7t which is a big horse trailer/very big caravan and more than enough for almost everyone to be honest.

As a seven seater it competes against the D5 and I think it's better value there too. Go to the Inscription trim and a few options gives you everything and more than LR give on the RRS or D5. LR makes the Volvo look like good value at £60k on the road. Which is quite funny really. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

It sounds like you are tempted RRSTDV8 Thumbs Up Perhaps we had better let Muddy buy one first and see if it gets his seal of approval. Wink If they have any weak points, then Muddy will find them. Laughing

Nah, it's a mug's game spending £60k on a new car. I'll buy something that has been "pre-depreciated" e.g. a late D4 or a FFRR. Wouldn't object to an XC90 but I do want it to be able to get muddy which might be the limiting factor. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
