I had the same issue when I first bought my RRS, turned out I just had to set the mirror to my preferred position then save it on the seat memory button and never had the problem again |

I know this is vague but if you have the IIDTool then try disabling the reverse dip function as well as the memory seat setting. Then turn on the car run for 30 seconds and turn off. Then re-enable the features you disabled and start the car. This is what I would do as a way of resetting those functions. I am not saying it will work but if you have the IIDTool then it doesn't hurt to try it.
