Connecting smart charger

Where on a 2015 RRS do you connect the negative lead of a smart charger. I have read that some people say the car body, others say the negative connection on the battery. The RRS has two threaded bolts coming up from the battery, which is hidden. Attaching the smart charger to both of these is easy, but is it the correct way. Sorry if this is a simple question but I need to use a smart charger shortly and would appreciate any help in this matter. 2015 Range Rover Sport Autobiography Dynamic SDV6

Yes, those two studs (connect +ve first to the one under the cover, then -ve to the stud in front).
