Morning all, new to the forum and just about to become the proud owner of a RRS (2009).

Moving from FLS & Disco's to RR so any tips anyone has on purchasing an RRS 2008 - 2010 would be welcomed. Looking for TDV8 with around 60k on the clock rather than higher mileage ones to avoid most issues (at the start).

Looking forward to chatting with some folk as time progresses

Hi all I have been pottering around on here for a while but decided it was time to register and say hello,
Just to give you a little background I bought my first LR in 2003 which was a 94 Disco 1 200tdi which did me proud and I have had many since inc 2 more D1's a D2 a 90 and even a FL, I am now returning after a 3 year affair with BMW My return home has come about after sourcing a very poorly ffrr td6 for my father inlaw and bringing it back to life, it made my X5 sport with the same running gear seem inferior so it had to go.

The X5 which has never skipped a beat in 2 years has been replaced with a 2007 rrs tdv8 that is a little poorly itself but that's another thread

Luckily I enjoy a challenge and have my own workshop but I just hope the other half has the patience as she didn't want it because "they're trouble"

Owner of 2007 Range rover sport.

it was left standing for quite a long time.

I've replaced the battery with a brand new one. Car started but there seems to be quite a lot of faults.

Tyre pressure sensor fault. Suspension/HDC fault, park brake fault and more...

Read a bit and replaced the brake light switch which didn't help.

I'm looking for an affordable independent specialist/mechanic that could investigate the faults. Any recommended ones around Windsor?

Hello all, first time poster and owner. Just bought a 2006 RRS Supercharged FE. Still learning about everything. It's had a premium LPG conversion last year so surprisingly economical to run. Did get an engine light on yesterday though so taking over to garage today to see why that is. But a great spec and what an amazing sound from the V8!

Ey up, newbie here just saying hello.
Joined up as my old man has recently bought an '09 RRS TDV8 HSE.
I'm the boy who will have to do all the work if anything should stray from the norm', so I thought it best if I made some friends who could possibly help out.
Not looking too bad so far, renewed the disintegrated upper tailgate switch the other week and stripped down & cleaned up the brakes today. Very nice Brembos on the front I might add!
Anyway, looking forward to speaking to you all at some point.
