That's a great price. I went for Goodyear Eagle F1's. Very quiet and seem to be wearing well, although they are £190 'ish each. I'm in the shed, I'll be back in the real world in a minute.

I was going for Pirelli scorpion verde all season but these look really good at £50 per corner less. Anyone got any experience of how well the Avon tyres wear? -----------------------------------------------

think this may be the problem mate as they were only released early this year so don't think many people have them or have many miles on them yet but with a wet rating A and fuel rating C they seem almost to good to be true haha only the dead truely know peace,

Haven't tried these on the RRS but tried some Avons on my Jag as I liked the look of the tread pattern. But was not impressed with the wear rate Robin

Thanks for replies. I've bit the bullet and ordered them so I will be the Guinea pig and try them getting them fitted Friday and got about 300 miles to donover weekend so should give me some idea.

Yes mate no good off road but 99% of my driving now is on road. But I'll be getting set of winter/ muddy wheel anyway. As had genral grabbbers on my supercharged and loved them in the snow and that only the dead truely know peace,

hey up well done about 1k ish miles on them now and have to say I'm more than happy with them

they are as quite as the latitudes that were on before them they grip well and wet grip is fantastic feels really sure footed in the wet and that was in some torrential down pours and plenty of fast twisty b roads and Im quite heavyly right footed.

and to my shock I'm actually averaging 1mpg better according to my on board comp and my driving hasn't changed or the type of driving I've been doing

so so far its a thumbs up from me especially for the price only the dead truely know peace,
