Placed my order on black circles, order confirmation received, closely followed after a few hours by a sorry we are out of stock notification. Had a check around and it turns out that even the manufacturer has no stock and there is no date when they will be available. The service desk representative stated they would offer me alternatives at their cost price as compensation for their error. Seemed a good deal! However every tyre I suggested was met with the response "we sell those at a loss" so no discount possible.
Since I need the tyres replaced ASAP due to considerable wear on current boots I had to order 2nd choice alternative. As I am switching from 275/40/20 to 275/45/20 that means 5 new Pirelli scorpion verde xl m+S tyres. gulp! -----------------------------------------------
