The car is still under warranty from the dealer I bought it from Jason. So I will talk to them first then get it looked at locally.

After two trips to my local Indi they could not find any fault. However they carried out a software update to the 'Infotanmant Module'. Two days on and the problem has not manifested it's self. So perhaps that has cured to issue.

I replied too soon. The controls have returned back to being unpredictable. One moment working correctly. The next pressing the increase volume will make to audio change from radio to CD or USB player. Hitting the voice control tab will make the phone call someone.

Sounds very like a faulty wiring loom behind the airbag |

You could be right Mikey. I have suspicions myself. However the guys at my local Indi said it checked out ok. Certainly no faults reported so I could not get it fixed under the warranty.

Apologies for not updating the thread. Directly after having the audio software updated I noticed no difference. However after a few weeks the problem has gone away and everything is working as it should.

Many thanks for the update, just spoke to my Land Rover main dealer and apparently diagnostics and wiring are not covered by the warranty so looks like a trip to my independant guy for an update. |
