Col thanks for the info, first registered mid 2013 so obviously not been updated, I wonder if JLR would update it under their 2 year warranty agreement Whistle

Hi,

You could try but I think you maybe being a bit optimistic, as there extended warrant excludes software updates and reprogramming which might be there escape clause. No harm in trying though.

Cheers
Col

Not so Happy Man

Oh dear do I have a problem.

I have only done 3k miles since my purchase and I have just noticed wear on the inside edge of the offside front tyre, no noticeable wear on the nearside front. Is this just the tracking out, I would have thought it would have occurred on both wheels, or something more sinister. Evil or Very Mad

If that's all that's happened in your first 3k miles I'd say you've done pretty well! Might be worth getting a Hunter alignment done.

Thanks for the reply BB, did I detect a note of sarcasm in your comment Rolling Eyes
I've looked up your suggestion of Hunter alignment and my local Kwik Fit have the facility although since its under main dealer warranty I'll inquire there first.

I'd try moaning at dealer first, lay it on thick Thumbs Up
Avoid Kwik Fit
Try Www.alignmycar.co.uk to search for a local Hunter equipped place
Better still, get a recommended local place. Disco3 website might have more info Thumbs Up Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Avoid kwik fit,as Dr Rob says,,find somewhere who uses Hunter alignment equipment.Believe me even if kwik fit used Hunter I still wouldn't go there. Its not all about the equipment it's about using it right.
