I don't run it right down, but about 320-350 I think. I get approx 20mpg only as many small trips with a small amount of longer journeys 2010 TDV8

In days gone by, the fuel tank always use to give you around a guaranteed 325 miles regardless of car, or way you drive, some having twin tanks to reach that.
Don't think it still applies with modern cars though, what with Electric, Hybrid, Gas & Petrol/Diesel combinations can give all sorts of ranges.
It doesn't sound like a V8 can, but the performance figures of the SDV6 equals and even beats much of the V8 diesel specs. John

It obviously depends on what kind of driving you are doing

Around town - I have absolutely no idea as I use a pushbike for anything under 10 miles so a tank lasts a few weeks

On the Motorway/Peage I get an easy 29mpg so my passengers bladders are usually the limiting factor

Cheers

Many thanks guys,

Seems to be, driving round here its getting it about 22/23mpg. Ive just bought its first tank of fuel, it managed 355 miles, with another 40 left on the range. Im off to the lake district, then Edinburgh next week, so will be interesting to see how it does then,

My current trip from Sussex to Aberdeen and back is halfway through and I'm averaging 27.1 mpg (actual) on 1041 miles. Around the speed limit on motorways and touring speed on Aberdeen's A roads. Biggest difference to mpg IMHO is to anticipate the road ahead. More e.g. overrun up to roundabouts etc. without using the brakes - and it's more comfortable for your passengers. This then leaves more opportunity for a blast or two when the mood takes you or when that caravan is too slow. Very Happy
Have a good trip. Robin

27 is great, certainly would be very happy with that!

Very good point about anticipating as well,

Certainly been very impressed with the power compared with the TDV6 in the Disco, overtaking is a joy! 2010 Range Rover sport TDV8

Hi Guys,

Just returned from Edinburgh, we went from kidderminster to Harrogate then on to perth, then to edinbough for a day, on the dash it seemed to be doing about 30mpg,
And managed 483 miles on a tank as well, With 12 miles left on the range.
Certainly a fantastic motorway cruiser!

James, You may well be aware, but just in case. Never run your fuel down that low, if the readout is wrong, or you do more miles looking for an open filling station you could run out of fuel, and that can be very expensive repair required, including Cats. Embarassed please be careful out there. Thumbs Up John

Certainly don't want to leave it that low again Sad planned to fill up as we left Edinburgh, sat nav seemed to take us through the hills on the way home with no filling stations in sight.. amazing views, and lovely roads but was a tarting to panic a bit! 2010 Range Rover sport TDV8
