Can only imagine the skipper did not hang around to have a chat as he was in a hurry to get home for a change of underwear having soiled himself quite severely. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

At least he kept his head and kept the engine running................... Interior should be fine but it looks like he might not have had in off-road height. Goes to show that even with 1m wading ability they will still float and not submerge the intakes! Worth knowing for those of us who do the odd bit of deep water wading when off-road, glad it wasn't me who found out the hard way though. Maybe LR should offer a Load Line/ Plimsoll Line on each side as an option........ I wonder if he had the Wade Sensing option fitted..... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

The benefit of RRS2 having the air intakes in the tops of the wings below the bonnet; so long as most of the bonnet was above water the engine should be fine. Doing that in RRS1 would have been terminal as the external wing mounted intake would have been below water level at some point in that video. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

As the wheels were not touching the road it must have gone in to extended mode allowing bit of traction to get back, at 1.19 sec of the clip shows the driver briefly and its a female driver. |
