Hi all, a couple of weeks ago I bought new front discs and pads for my 2006 Range Rover sport tdv6 HSE, at the weekend I finally had time to fit them but when I tried to put the new pads back in the caliper the outside pad fitted in as normal but the inside pad wont go in as its to tight to the disc!! I have brembo calipers on the front and I did ask them at the shop if I needed brembo discs and they said that I didn't so can anybody tell me if this is true, have the brembo discs got a different offset to bring the disc central to the brembo calliper? |

Thanks for replying guys but yes the pistons are all the way in, I only rebuild them last year so there working fine now that's why I'm changing the discs because the calipers sized and warped the discs, when the caliper if fitted with no pads in you can clearly see it's not central 🤔 |

Don't know about RRs Brembos yet but thats whats on mine. On other cars the calipers are 'floating' they move on slides.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is CFC? Steveo, are these 4 or 6 pot Brembo's. I only ask as I fitted 6 pots at the weekend, and as you say they bolt directly to the hub and they can only go on one way. I just pushed the pistons flush to the caliper body and the pads just dropped in. Best Regards Tony MY2014 SDV6 AB Dynamic |

Thought it was CRC a spray lubricant bit like our WD40. Thought CFC was the propellant gas used in things like aerosols.
