My puppy has enjoyed biting the map pockets at the rear of the front seats.

The driver's seat was particularly bad and rather than have a trimmer remove the seats and de-skin them I attempted a repair myself. Total cost £5. Time taken 45 minutes.

Far better than was, but to me it looks a bit odd, and doesn't go with seat colour finish, did you do both front seats to match? I think a piece of same color and type of similar material/leather would have been the way to go.
Only a personal opinion of course.  John

Yes I did both seats.

If I could find some leather of the right colour I would wrap the strip and re-apply it.

I got a large piece of leather from a Scrapyard off a write off car with crunched seats, but leather was fine for my needs, cost £12, if you know the colour phone around any yards you can get too.

Here in North Wales we have a large site that is open to public and trade called ABAKHAN Ltd, they have a website to www.abakhan.co.uk that sell so many materials for clothes, bedding, suites, curtains etc they may be able to help to, there are several buildings to complex, including a cafe, gift shop etc. By road they are on the A458 near Mostyn Docks, North Wales.
