Far easier to connect the CTEK to the two power terminals on the offside of the engine. |

Thanks Phil. Where exactly are those terminals? Do you use the comfort connection cable, or just the clamps?

The only way to change that is to do one or all of the following:

I am the under used moderator of RRS2 forums (and the BabyRR/ Evoque forum) and you cannot even select a model/ colour avatar in the profile settings there so just use what you have like I do here................... Best thing to do is to take a low res photo of your car and in your profile here upload it as an avatar, has to be low res as the file size is restricted.

The advent of the power management module, which turns things off when not required, precludes the use of fag-lighter sockets and stuff. I'm not sure you can charge the main battery by connecting the charger to the small battery in the boot as I believe there is a switch that isolates the two when the charge on the small battery is full.

I don't know, but I imagine they go direct to the main battery (which may be hidden under the fuse box on the nearside bulkhead). |

Thanks Phil. I think the main battery is just under the spare wheel in the trunk ... Am not 100% sure but have noticed some wiring there in the back under the wheel. Don't think there is sufficient space near the engine for an AGM Battery. And think that it is now common sense to keep the battery away from the heated zone of the engine ... My BMW X6 and previous X5 had it in the trunk. |

Yes, you're correct. Under the floor where the spare wheel would be if you have one. |
