If it does it for a few seconds just after start up it normal. I think it's the hydraulic tensioners on the chains between the inlet/exhaust cams 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

Hi, yes I have the same thing, doing it between 1 and 2 second just after start sometime not always, generally the morning. I was thinking it is until the oil get the good pressure. I always have the niggle after replacement of timing cam belts, oil and water pomp. RRS 2006 2.7 TDV6

You won't be disappointed with these cars, they are in a league of their own, comfort, power and sheer pleasure to drive on or off road. They have their own problems, but all documented on here. First I would like to say hi to every one, I've been visiting this site recently a lot as a guest, doing a lot of reading up and taking advice, and I would like to say thanks, I've decided to buy myself a rrs ,2010 face lift Stornaway grey 3.0 diesel hse , 60'000 miles on her , full Landrover service history. I pick it up Friday morning so here's hoping it's a good one like most have said on here, thanks again as I wouldn't have made my mind up without this site and its members |
