Finished today, wow that was a pig of a job!

Agree definitely drop the LH wishbone to get bar out and new one in

A flex head ratchet 15mm spanner saved a lot of time when refitting the clamp bolts and then torqued up with the LR special tools

New drop links also fitted at the same time making good use of my new extra long 21mm ratchet spanner to get access to the top nut on the drop link with enough leverage.

Finally I can confirm the Disco Mikey bleed method does seem to work as got it all fitted back together and the ARC reservoir was almost completely empty. Filled it right up a went for a drive with loads of really sharp left/right yanks on the steering wheel. Back home and checked the reservoir, half full and loads of bubbles so it looks like it self purges the air through the two pipes back into ARC reservoir.

Now its all done, no more knocking! Happy days  TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten

Looks like I may be in trouble here. Just replaced front pipes and there is no sign of any movement in the reservoir. I hoping air is doing this , particularly that I replaced the front section pipes.

Trying to pinpoint where I should start and find out why I see no movement in the fluid level after replacing the front pipes, only fault code C1119-09 Now that relates to pressure and the orange indicator comes on the dash and can disappear after ign switch off, and doesn't always come back , nevertheless it's there. Would it be that one of the solenoid valves are not energising. Could do a manual test and energise, and the fact that , if this is the case the fluid is stuck the circulation path. There is no noise as in pump noise .
I read the note on how the guy got his bled, but have I missed something .......Mike?

Rather than do a reply , I have done some more to rectify this bleeding lark!
Jacked up front and removed wheels and drop links , loosened drivers side bleed nipple and its dry , nothing so gravity not going to work .Moved bars up and down while engine is running and still nothing , Apart from getting a tool to test the actuators on the top of the valve block , I think I am stuck! If there is no noise from a pump then can I assume all is ok there, certainly no code to tell me that apart from C11909, but according to manual can be faults numerous. Any help or ideas appreciated. With a dealer at my door step and a specialist 50 miles away I am slightly frustrated . Has anyone had their system bled and how much did it cost please.

Yeah I have all that printed off .

Can I assume that because I have pressure sensor fault c1A09-16 that comes up can be of two things either its locked out because of air introduced by changing the pipes and introducing new fluid or isnt working at all and not allowing circulation. The air suspension is not happy either. There is no movement looking into the reservoir.

So moving on a bit , I have discovered , someone has by passed the pump for dynamics with a shortened belt, I have replaced this and fluid is circulating and now get two different codes while driving .C1AA20-64 , U0132-87 Not sure why was hoping for Dynamic related codes now that the pump is working. Maybe I confused the modules .I looked up the code for compressor relay and clearly not that , I have read that they need replacing from time to time . Where is this relay , just in case
