Mine has split right by the connection its on the fitting that is able to undo the 19mm nutphoto is in gallery

Pull the remains of the hose with the pliers while simultaneously pressing the copper fitting (the one that looks like small "fins") inwards with another pair of pliers.
Alternatively - set it on fire. Literally, burn the rubber out of the fitting. Regards etc.,

Is olly-Ibiza correct is this return pipe if yes could I soften the remainder pipe with hot water then use a pipe clamp to refit the pipe to insert sticking out of bolt fitting in my photo

If it looks like this, the fitting is toast anyway, so you can destroy it and rip the thing out. Then put everything together, drive to a hardware store, get a new copper fitting (don't worry - the car will exhaust the overpressuriezed air VERY loud, but no harm will be done) and once you have the fitting, you can put it quite comfortably into the compressor already on the vehicle and refit the hose. Make sure you put it firmly inside (about 2.5 cm of hose must go into the fitting) Regards etc.,

I have ended up fitting new compressor but front suspension very slow to rise pump getting hot info display list car will raise when system has cooled any ideas please

Seems like a major leak to me. Seen this happening in a car I didn't end up buying when a front airbag was leaking from sitting too long in access position.
Spray water with some dishwashing fluid on the airbags, rise the vehicle and watch for bubbles that indicate a leak. Regards etc.,

It's very much possible but not 100% obvious.
There is much more to check - the lines, valve blocks (if your front rises slowly, check the connections to the front valve block)... Regards etc.,

While working on car rear end was up on ramps I had the car running for quite a while when testing it and checking for leaks
Am I right in thinking as the car has self levelling the car being raised at the rear it would have been trying to level itself meaning pump getting hot
Started the car this morning and all working as it should be
Thanks for all the input On this problem from forum members
