Just wondering what tyres other than the Pirellis anyone has tried on their Sport. I find the road noise on the 21" Pirellis a bit much and was wondering if anyone has tried anything else that are a bit quieter. 2008 Factory HST- Sold

Mine are Michelin latitudes on 20" rims, which I deliberately specced!

Quiet is bliss................ and also very progressive when they break away. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Goodyear Excellence on 20 seem to be quite good in my opinion

Toyo proxes 235/35/22 . Used them for years never had any issues, good grip and quite. No real off road use to brag about , the best I can do is wet grass .

Wet grass is more slippery than most surfaces! MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

On my 22inch rims I have Continental CrossContact LX Sport 275/40/22. They came as standard on the car.

They contain Conti-silent technology which is a layer of foam on the inside of the tyre to reduce noise.

Tyres seem pretty good so far. 2016 Range Rover Sport SDV8 HSE Dynamic (Indus Silver/Santorini Black Pano Roof, Ebony/Cirrus leather, custom grey Style 508 alloys)

I have the same setup as DrFox on my L494 and was not happy with Conti's based on previous noise and excessive wear experience, so far they have been as quiet (despite being bigger than any tyres I have had on any previous car) and so far in almost 10,000 miles on and off-road motoring no signs of wear. The best 20" tyres I have had on an RRS were the Pirelli's that were fitted on the TDV8 RRS, even after 28000 miles they had worn very evenly and were down to about 6mm all round. I had 20" Michelin Latitudes on my 2nd Evoque, they were quiet and in 12 months/8000 miles on and off-road use they looked unused 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

I had the same Continentals on my SDV8 DrFox and had to replace all 5 tires after 4 days on Fraser Island, The first popped on a inland track and the other 4 had stress fractures,
I now have coopers which have a slightly larger side wall but have been fine offroad and ok onroad.

The Continental CrossContact LX Sport tyres are a road tyre and for "light" off-road use.
