Wet & dry and soapy water, did mine finished up with 2000 grit. Think I started at 800.

The lenses are plastic with a lacquer coat.

I've heard toothpaste suggested before- I guess it's quite abrasive too though |

Could try Meguiars Plastx plastic cleaner and polish.

Yes there are a couple of Lens cleaners out there .They work very well and the better ones have a final protective coating to apply when the job is done. 2006 4.2 S/C with Tow Pack, Side Steps, DRL's, 19" & 20" wheels, additional 110 ltr Fuel Tank Roof Rack and performance mods.

I tried the Meguiars 1 step, that's when I learned about the lacquer. The two step stuff should be better as I'm guessing the second step is a lacquer. |

Just read the instructions on the rear of the PlastX Bottle and it says not to use on coated plastics, so if there is a lacquer coating on the lens I guess that would mean that as well.

Any headlight that's speckled/cloudy means the the top coat has/is coming off.

Polish it either with a machine or toothpaste, then apply a layer of wax over it. Wax the lights when you wash the car again... job's a good'en
