And be careful with what you use to wash with, or what the polish / Romanian car washes use.

Hi, the correct thing to clean them with in an Anodised rubber which is what we use on Aluminium windows and shop fronts to remove stains. It is oil and other liquids that end up getting on them due to there location, if i were you i would keep it simple and wash them, clean with wire wool, mask and spray silver 2007, HSE, Cairnes Blue, Factory tints, Love it !!! |

It might not be rust but it is discoloured, thought it was mud till we got it cleaned.

I always thought it was an aluminium alloy. I used some rubbing compound on mine and it didn't get them perfect, but it certainly improved them...

Winter road salt! It tarnished mine before they were 6 months old. I’ve micromeshed mine but I want to have them painted gloss black along with my D pillar trims. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
