England 2009 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HST Stornoway Grey

It works. Just back from a 1200 mile round trip to Germany including a sustained 130mph rush down the unrestricted autobhann. Checked the underside of the car this morning and dry as a bone, not even a little weep. When it was done Famous Four workshop manager (who incidently is often a contributor to LRO) advised that mine was the worst leak he had seen and that it may still continue to weep. It does not so £250 or £1600, the choice is yours!

I know this, any more problems Famous Four will get the first chance to fix it. So for the kit go to Famous Four's web site www.famousfour.co.uk or call 01507 609444. I stress I have no connection with the company but they were very helpfull and their coffee isn't bad either.

Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

HST,

Just wondering if this repair has lasted, as just found my front one is leaking!

Hi Chris,
It worked fine for about 4-4500 miles then started to weep again. I bit the bullet and replaced it. That said I was told in the beginning that it probably wouldn't work as mine was the worst that Famous Four had seen so I wasn't wholly surprise when it started weeping again. The front one remains dry. My view, try the kit if it works great. If not you can always put it on the new bar to strengthen it.
speak to Dave, workshop foreman. Very helpful and contributor to LRO.
HST.

Additional Details
This kit is designed to securely clamp the anti-roll bar to prevent excess movement which leads to leaking and ultimately failure of the very expensive stabilizer bar. It is a preventative measure and will not cure a leaking stabilizer bar. Please contact us for further details.

I did wonder how it would cure a leaking seal, but that explains it. It is to prevent the bar from leaking in the first place Thumbs Up
